Ian’s work identifies and characterizes biological and cognitive mechanisms linking peer victimization to the vulnerability to develop psychopathology. He is currently using a monozygotic twin model to investigate probable causal relations between peer victimization exposure and cognitive response biases in adolescence. He hopes that his work will refine clinical intervention and help identify at-risk children for early intervention services.
